I put this page up for my buddy Jeff.  We will post what he has going on here.

Vampire Queen - Jeff brought another kit over.  The is a Jimmy Flintstone kit that I picked up at wonderfest.  He wanted some help detailing her, but he had the paint job done.

8-3-2008

We started with details around the eyes, shadow and blush.  I added just the hint of an iris to the eye, but her eye's are wolled back into her head, so there is only a hint of it.  We also added some pastels for shading, and some details on the heat she is holding.

Freddy Krugar - This is my buddies kit.  It a vinyl kite from Screaming.  He wanted me to paint the face to see how to do the skin tones and shading.

This is the first horror face I have ever painted.  While where where working on it I kept comparing it to the  Lexa kit that was still on the workbench.  I was afraid that if I did not pay attention he was going to end up with a sexy Freddy Krugar face, and I just could not see that working.

We worked on Freddy a little more tonight.  This time my buddy Jeff did all the painting.  We painted the sweater.  In the first picture the sweater looks new and a little to much like a Christmas sweater.

So we covered the whole torso with a dark wash.  That really made it come alive.  We still need to do some pastel work and maybe a little dry brushing for more highlights.
